NFPA-Surface/Swiftwater Rescue-Combination Course
Course Info
This curriculum is specifically designed for emergency first responders, rescue teams and professional rescuers who are looking for NFPA compliant water rescue training.
This 5-day, 40-hr course is NFPA 2500 compliant for swiftwater & surface water rescue awareness, operations, & technician standards.
This course combines both classroom and in-field days. It is very active in the water and is suitable for rescuers with little to no rescue experience. This course also offers participants the opportunity to develop their skills and push their personal limits on and off the water with realistic rescue scenarios, self-rescue challenges, and lots of hands-on interactive rescues and scenarios
Prerequisites
- Adequate physical fitness
- Swimming ability
- 18 years old or older
- Member of a public safety agency
